"Honky Tonk Dive Bar Blues" by Stoney Forde

"Something For You" (A Hipster Christmas Carol) 2x25 1021with Jack Rappit by Stoney Forde

This is not your parents Christmas music.

Sticks and Stones (Telling Stories) by Stoney Forde

A re-mix of "Telling Stories Outta School" with Jack Rappit added.

"It Just Shows to Go You" 2x25 905 with Jack Rappit by Stoney Forde

Another wicked good song from the Stonester just in time for now.

"Straight Outta Reno "  2X25 525 with Jack Rappit by Stoney Forde

Every place needs its own anthem, even a mythical place. Reno isn't a place on a map that you can find with latitude and longitude coordinates, it's a state of mind for the creative endeavor to nurture and grow.

Sure, this is a cross between a Spaghetti Western Soundtrack and some twisted Urban Beatscape replete with Zombies, Mall Santas, the occasional Killer Clown, plus Jack Rappit doing his thing, but that's just Reno flying its Freak Flag.

"THE LOST CAUSE - 2X25" by Stoney Forde

A new drop from the Stonester just in time for Valentine's Day. It's a little bit Country and a little bit Rock and Roll yet all Stoney Forde. The video is AI-generated.

Alt-Country meets British Blues Rock for a trip to the dive bar.

"Telling Stories Outta School" by Stoney Forde

Giving off a Twenty-one Pilots vibe.

Not an official music video but more of an AI-generated storyboard.  I left in all of the flaws to show what kinds of brain sweats and night terrors the AI was having that day. Yet, TBH, it does give the piece a magical realism quality that is hard to beat.

High School Anthem for a new generation. Think; "Don't You Forget About Me" and "Good Riddance/Time of Your Life."

"Saint Jones" by Stoney Forde

"Witchy Voodoo" by Stoney Forde

The video was done using AI-generated imagery. I left in all of the flaws to show what kinds of brain sweats and night terrors the AI was having that day. Yet, TBH, it does give the piece a magical realism quality that is hard to beat.

A Singer/Songwriter piece with orchestral overtones.

Stoney drops a new song, Witchy Voodoo, a little blues rock number to get your feet a-movin' and your hips a-grovin'. It's a song about cryptids and the relationship that magic has had in encouraging these creatures.

"Dog and Pony (The Anarchy)" by Stoney Forde

A woman walks into a bar (always a great way to start a story) reflected by the swagger of the opening guitar work in the intro. Of course, whenever a woman walks into a bar, she brings the locomotion (accent on loco). Hence, the building percussion brings the rhythm of a train.

"No Wrong Answers" by Stoney Forde

The song def has some Steely Dan vibes working for it. Also, buried in the song is an homage to that great band, Little Feat.

The music video was created using AI-generated video clips based loosely on the song's lyrics.

"Faith Like a River" by Stoney Forde

The video was done using AI-generated imagery. I left in all of the flaws to show what kinds of brain sweats and night terrors the AI was having that day. Yet, TBH, it does give the piece a magical realism quality that is hard to beat.

The Truckee River flows by about a block from my place, demanding a daily walk. On a couple of those walks, this song came to be.

"Long Legged Goddess (A Bit Wicked)" by Stoney Forde

The track could be described as a bonafide ode to the captivating charms of an alluring woman, which is a symbol of lust but also danger and mystique. With playful verses and a catchy chorus, the song paints a vivid picture of a femme fatale, drawing comparisons to timeless legends such as Bridget Bardot. The lyrics capture the heart-skipping thrill and unpredictability of a short-term love affair with such a woman, emphasizing her power to enchant…and leave trouble in her trail with equal ease!

"Rum Running 3 Sheets to the Wind" by Stoney Forde

"Rum Running 3 Sheets to the Wind" is more than a musical track; it's a manifesto for the footloose, adventure-seeking spirit that dwells within us, often lying dormant, waiting for a song like this to awaken. It evokes the essence of Jimmy Buffett's "Margaritaville," yet with a sophistication and narrative depth that surpasses and charts its own course in more positive seas. This is classic yacht rock, redefined for a new generation, inviting all to trim their sails and sing along to the chorus of freedom and exploration.
